The The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard from Supervisor Marcus Fedler on the final change request for the Orchard Hill Remodeling Project at their meeting Tuesday, “So, there’s basically four changes, we talked about these. I had mentioned last time that we had a change that we had a few more coming, this is it. So basically they have a new push bar on the existing door, they went with a smaller profile on that to save money. Just kind of an oversight on the door hardware. And then the flooring, that is taking finishes out of mechanical rooms, and then the two entrance ways. When you come into the building there is a terrazzo entrance and they are in really good shape, and there is already going to be a walk up mat in those areas so it didn’t make sense to just cover up terrazzo in flooring and then have new flooring to clean and maintain.” The original remodeling budget for the project is $3,402,505. The overall project cost was about $180,000 higher than anticipated, and they have been able to cut $120,000 of that with these change orders. heard from Supervisor Marcus Fedler on the final change request for the Orchard Hill Remodeling Project at their meeting Tuesday, “So, there’s basically four changes, we talked about these.
