The Washington Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the 33rd Annual Tour of Homes scheduled for Saturday, December 7th from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, December 8th from 1-5 p.m. The homes on display are beautifully decorated. In addition to seeing the homes, visitors can learn more about the history of the area and the people who live there. KCII spoke with participating homeowner Amy Greiner to learn more about how she is preparing for the tour, “So, for me, I love to decorate, so this has been really fun yet a little bit stressful, you know, to have kids in the home and a cat in the home.” Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. You can find a link to purchase tickets with this news story at KCIIradio.com. The Candlelight Tour of Homes is the primary fundraiser for the Washington holiday lighting season; more information including tour stops and participating businesses can be found on the Chamber of Commerce website.
