Sigourney-Keota’s Reanah Utterback brought home the championship in the 115-pound weight class at the Bill Rex Invitational in Pekin to highlight a busy night of local high school girls’ wrestling. The senior remained undefeated on the season by beating all three opponents she wrestled by fall.

Sophomore teammate Sadie Clarahan also won a title at 125 with three pins. Izzy McCullough finished fourth at 100 lbs for SK, while fellow freshman Erica Clubb was fifth at 110.

Sophomore Chloe Sexton was a winner for Highland at 19o thanks to a pair of pins. Josie Nelson nearly brought home the gold for Columbus/Winfield-Mount Union, finishing second at 140.

Fellow senior Maritza Tovar was also runner-up at 105 lbs for the Wildcats, as was sophomore Jada Moats at 170, while Aubrey Valencia took third at 125 and fellow freshman Jalynn Phillips finished fourth at 115.

Lone Tree’s Carlee Sexton took third at 105, as did fellow sophomore Olivia Magruder at 135, while senior Alex Dautremont was fifth at 140 for the Lions and junior Ashlynn Sojka finished sixth at 235. WACO senior Elyssa Graber competed at the Williamsburg Invitational last night and finished sixth at 105.
