The City of Washington will be implementing time and attendance software for all city employees. At their recent meeting, City Administrator Joe Gaa presented to the council a time and attendance software implementation for the City of Washington employees, “This is something that we have been talking about over the last few months. Something that paired off, I guess when I got here one of the things that surprised me a little bit was that we were still doing payroll by hand, and every department does it differently, and on different sheets. Some do use a little bit of computer based, but it’s not anything that’s tying to so payroll still has to be each one entered in separately.” The Council approved the implementation of the software which has an annual cost of $3,563 with a one-time set up fee of $9,000.
