The Washington Y Aquatic Center opens today for members and donors. KCII News spoke with Executive Director Amy Schulte about the opening, “Definitely check in with us if you are interested in using the pool, make sure you are checking in with us in advance, we are requiring people to register ahead of time because of the high demand that we are expecting. So if there are any questions about that, reach out to us ahead of time to make sure that you don’t show up to the pool wanting to swim and all of the lanes are already taken. That’s one of the things I would probably encourage everyone to plan ahead for.” Registration for aquatic classes is required and will be open by the end of the day on Wednesday, December 11th.
