One person died in a two-vehicle wreck near Marengo. According to the Iowa State Patrol the crash happened at 2:33 p.m. on Tuesday. A 2009 Ford Escape driven by 52-year-old William Myers of Marengo was southbound on 210th Street. A truck with a trailer driven by 65-year-old Russell Trimble of Marengo was northbound on the same road. While entering the curve, the Myers vehicle crossed the center line for unknown reasons, resulting in an offset head-on collision. Myers suffered fatal injuries.
