Local law enforcement agencies are teaming up to make the holidays bright for area children. The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbus Junction Police Department are holding their annual toy drive. New unwrapped toy donations can be dropped off through December 19th at a variety of locations including the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office, Columbus Junction City Hall, or at drop boxes at elementary schools throughout the county.

Families from Louisa County can then attend the toy giveaway on December 22nd between 4-8 p.m. at the Briggs Center in Wapello. You must be a Louisa County resident and bring a form of identification.
