The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys wrestling team came up short in both ends of a River Valley Conference triangular meet Thursday at Monticello. The Hawks fell to Iowa City Regina 45-24 and the home Panthers 48-21. Three Golden Hawks were unbeaten on the night led by Max Howe and Burke Berry with a pair of pins each. Mason Howe scored two victories, one by fall and one in a wild 18-15 decision. Golden Hawks that split their matches included Josh Turner and Tommy Miller with a pin each. Mid-Prairie is now 2-6 on the dual season and will be back in action Saturday at the Grinnell dual tournament.
