One person was injured when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Riverside Road and G36 north of Washington on Monday evening. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 4:59 p.m. authorities received the report of the crash with one person stuck in a vehicle and one vehicle smoking. Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, Washington County Ambulance, Washington EMS, Washington Rescue, and Washington Fire Department responded and provided assistance at the scene.

The two drivers involved were 21-year old Ashley Yedlik of Lone Tree and 28-year old Victoria Powers of Ainsworth. Powers was cited for failure to yield upon a left turn.
