A record-setting season for the Mid-Prairie volleyball program has produced post-season recognition of the highest level. Three Golden Hawks were named Class 3A All-State by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.
Senior Dakota Mitchell was a First-Team selection. The 2023 River Valley Conference Player of the Year and multi-time All-State, All-District and All-Conference pick capped her terrific career with a team-leading 558 digs, third most in Class 3A. Her 58 aces were seventh most in 3A.
Junior Jovi Evans was a Second-Team selection. The 2024 RVC Player of the Year, multi-time All-State, All-District and All-Conference award-winner finished the season with 356 kills, fifth most in Class 3A and 55 aces, eighth in 3A. Her 584 assists led the team to go with 374 digs and 22 blocks with a .356 kill efficiency.
Senior Callie Huber was a Fourth-Team selection. The multiple time All-RVC honoree and All-District player finished with a .428 kill efficiency, fourth in 3A on 256 total kills, with a team best 46 blocks, adding 19 aces.
Mid-Prairie finished the season ranked No. 8 in Class 3A, with a school record 33 wins, the program’s first ever back-to-back conference titles and first trip to State since 2004.
