The Golden Hawk Archery Club hit the holiday break after a tournament last weekend at Albia.
The high school Hawks did not post team scores. In bullseye, Girls leader was Sophia Puttman in sixth with a 273 with 12 tens. Top boys score was Cooper Schilling 34th at 239 with four tens. In 3D, Puttmann was fifth with a 269 and eight tens for the girls, and Schilling was 21st with a 225 and five tens for the boys.
The middle school Hawks were third as a team in bullseye with a 2871, Chariton won the championship at 2946. Easton Gorsch led the Golden Hawk boys in third at 267 with 10 tens. Mya Brenneman was best for the Golden Hawk girls in fourth at 261 with nine tens. In 3D, Mid-Prairie was also third as a team at 1410, behind Ottumwa’s 1519. Mya Brenneman led the girls in third place with a 243 and seven tens. Lara Brenneman was sixth. For the boys, Easton Miller was 15th at 244 with six tens for the boys.
The Golden Hawk Archery Club will next be in action January 4th at East Buchannan.
