The Lone Tree Lions lost a thriller with Louisa-Musactine last Friday night 79-76 in Southeast Iowa Super Conference boys’ basketball.

Lone Tree rallied from a three-point deficit at the end of the first quarter to take a 34-32 lead by halftime. Unfortunately, the Lions fell behind by five going into the final period and could never come all the way back.

Junior Emmett Burke had a huge night for Lone Tree, scoring 35 points on 13-of-22 shooting and dishing out 11 assists. Dominic Garcia had 13 points and fellow junior Reece Holbrook added 12 points and eight rebounds as the Lions fall to 2-4 in the Super Conference North and 2-5 overall.
