Many offices and businesses will be closed on Wednesday for New Years Day. The Post Office will be closed on New Year’s Day, with regular Post Office hours and mail delivery resuming on Thursday. The Washington Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, as well as most banking establishments. All City of Washington trash and recycling routes will be a day later. As a reminder, the Washington Community School District is on break through January 3rd with classes resuming on Monday, January 6th.
