In Class 2A, the Washington Demons Aaron Boone is ranked No. 2 at 132lbs. The Demon senior just celebrated his 150th career victory, December 19th. This season he has a 21-0 record with an individual championship at the Fort Madison Tournament.
Mid-Prairie senior Burke Berry is ranked No. 12 at 285lbs. Berry has a 7-1 record this season with a New London Tournament Championship.
Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union’s Dakota Aney is No. 8 at 106lbs. Aney has an 8-1 record this year
In Class 1A, the WACO Warriors have a trio in the latest poll. Louden Huisenga, last year’s state runner-up, sits in the top spot at 190lbs with a 12-0 record. Huisenga has individual titles from tournaments at Wapello and Iowa City Regina. At 106lbs, freshman Ian Maize checks in at No. 4 with an 11-1 mark this year, and titles at Wapello and Regina. Gage Samo is ranked No. 6 at 120lbs. With an 11-0 record and titles from tournaments at Wapello and Iowa City Regina.
