Residents of the City of Kalona who had live Christmas trees for the holidays will want to get them out this weekend. The City of Kalona will have a curbside pick-up of live Christmas Trees on Monday, January 7th. Residents should be sure the trees are cleared of ornaments. Any trees with ornaments still on them will not be picked up. Johnson County Refuse will be collecting the trees and questions should be directed to their office. Trees need to be on the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday.
