Shoppers who make purchases at participating businesses this month could win Kalona Kash. Kalona Chamber of Commerce Director Tonia Poole shares the promotion that’s currently being held in Kalona, “So as long as you’re shopping with one of our Kalona Chamber members, you keep that receipt and bring it by our office. And every receipt is a chance to win $10 in Kalona Kash. And we draw five winners every week through the month of January so it’s a pretty good chance to win yourself some Kalona Kash.”

Poole adds it is important to shop locally, “Especially once we get past the holidays, everybody kind of relaxes and they don’t get out as much. So one, it’s a good morale booster for individuals to just have something simple to do in these winter months. But then also for the businesses, to kind of keep the momentum going because they still need to keep their lights on and keep going themselves.”
