The Washington City Council declared some City property surplus at their recent meeting. City Administrator Joe Gaa gave the list of surplus property to the Council, “Yes, just a couple of things. One of the things that we are trying to do is if things aren’t being used, try and clear them out. And so a couple of small items, one of them is a pump, we call it a trash pump, it’s what they throw in a hole when they are needing to clean up a water leak and to see the pipe. And then some wheels and tires from a Kubota tractor that is no longer in use.” The Council voted unanimously to declare the property surplus and gave City employees permission to sell the property.
