Math and literacy will be the focus at Mid-Prairie West Elementary School as they will be hosting an event later in the month. The school will be hosting the second annual Math & Literacy Night and they look to build on last year’s turnout.
The event is for students in grades kindergarten through -4th grade and their families. It will be held at the Mid-Prairie West Elementary from 5:30-7 p.m. on January 30th. Dinner will be provided from 5:30-6:30 p.m.. The committee that is running the event is made up of the teachers of the elementary school.
According to the Principal Greg Jergens, they want the location to rotate every year so it works out for families who are traveling. If you are interested in going to the event, the school asks that you RSVP no later than January 16th.
