The Highland Huskies picked up a team victory in boys’ wrestling duals last night, taking down Van Buren County 42-34. Senior Isaac Kleese was a winner by fall for Highland at 215 pounds, as was sophomores Tyler Pierson at 132 and Gauge Richardson at 165. The Huskies also got pins to win from freshmen Jack Cave at 106 and Aiden Yoder at 120.

The Lone Tree Lions also got a conference dual win yesterday at home, defeating Pekin 41-18. Freshman Trenton McKean had the lone head-to-head victory, winning by technical knockout at 106 lbs.
