Public presentation of market studies will be given related to the application for a casino in Linn County at a meeting next week. And in less than three weeks the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission will vote on the application for the casino in Cedar Rapids. The market studies meeting is being held January 23rd in Jefferson. 

The vote will be held February 6th in Altoona at Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack and Hotel. 

The public may submit written comments before February 6th to the commission by sending an email to Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission at irgc@iowa.gov.
