The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys wrestling team traveled to Anamosa Thursday night for a River Valley Conference quad against Maquoketa, Cascade and the home Blue Raiders. The Hawks scored a 34-30 win over the Cougars, snapping a four dual losing streak. They dropped a 54-24 decision to the Cardinals and lost 72-9 to the home Blue Raiders.

It was a perfect night for Josh Turner who went 3-0 collecting two pins. The 2-1 crew were Dom Shively with a pin, Tommy Miller with a 6-5 decision and 13-5 major decision and Burke Berry with a pin. The Hawks dual record is now 5-16. They wrestle their home conference quad Thursday.
