At 8:36 A.M. Friday, the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle incident near the intersection of 325th Street and TT Avenue in rural North English. According to an investigation, 23-year-old Jessica Patch of South English was operating a 1999 Toyota Forerunner eastbound when she failed to negotiate a curve, entered the ditch and overturned. Patch was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead on scene.

Responding to the call were the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa County Ambulance Service, Wellman First Responders and Wellman Fire Department.
