The Washington Demons suffered a 52-44 loss at Oskaloosa in girls’ basketball Saturday. Washington turned a two-point deficit after one quarter into a tie game at 21 going into halftime, and the Demons were still even with the Indians heading into the final period, but the home team finished off the game on a 16-8 run take the win.
