The Highland and WACO school districts have announced the three finalists for their shared superintendent. The finalists are Spencer Lueders, Bruce Snodgrass, and Bill Zywiec.
Lueders is currently an intermediate principal at the Central Dewitt School District. He’s previously held principal, preschool program coordinator, and Title X/Equity Coordinator positions in other districts. He has a special education supervision certificate from the University of Northern Iowa and a bachelors degree in elementary education from Ashford University.
Snodgrass is currently serving as the principal at West Burlington Junior/Senior High School. Before his time as principal, he was a history teacher in Knoxville, Iowa and Platte City, Missouri. Snodgrass has a master’s degree in educational leadership and a specialist in education certificate from Northwest Missouri State University. He also has a bachelor’s degree in history and secondary education from Missouri Western State College.
Zywiec is currently serving as the Highland School District Dean of Students and high school boys basketball coach at Highland. He also has experience teaching math and was the director of personnel at the district. Zywiec holds an education specialist degree from Wayne State College, a master’s degree in 7-12 school administration from Concordia University, and a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
