The Lone Tree Lions rolled up a pair of basketball victories over Cedar Valley Christian Thursday. The Lone Tree girls jumped out to a 20-2 lead after one quarter of play and were up 40-3 by halftime on their way to a convincing 61-8 win. The victory raises the Lions’ record to 13-3.
Lone Tree was only up 37-33 at halftime in the boys’ game, but they pushed that advantage to seven points heading into the final period, and the Lions would hold on to win 68-57. With the victory, Lone Tree improves to 4-1o.
