The Washington Demons suffered an 85-60 loss to Clear Creek Amana in boys’ basketball Saturday. Despite trailing by seven points at the end of the first quarter, Washington rallied to cut the deficit at home to 37-33 at halftime.

But Clear Creek Amana would start the second half on a 30-12 run and seize control of the game. A loss drops the Demons to 6-9. Both Washington basketball teams play later tonight at Ottumwa.
