A West Chester man was arrested in Sigourney on Thursday on felony drug charges. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Keokuk County officials that they were out with a subject with three Washington County warrants. They arrested 45-year-old Ed Carroll of West Chester on two counts violation of probation for possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, both class D felonies, and failure to appear for probation revocation hearing on violation of probation for a controlled substance. Carroll is being held in the Washington County Jail on a $15,000 bond. His revocation hearing had been set for December of 2024.
