A West Chester man has been arrested on felony burglary charges. On Friday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a wanted subject in the lobby of the Washington County Courthouse. They arrested 26-year-old Kelly Knerr of West Chester for a charge of 3rd degree burglary, a class D felony. According to court documents, in January of 2024, Knerr was allegedly seen in a Brighton residence taking items. Knerr later admitted to the deputy that he had been at the residence, and had the stolen property in his possession. Knerr was being held on a $5000 bond in the Washington County Jail. A preliminary hearing has been set for February 13th.
