The Hillcrest Academy Raven boys and girls basketball teams return to the floor tonight when they face the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons in a Southeast Iowa Superconference doubleheader in Letts. The Hillcrest girls are 9-8 this year and 7-7 in the Superconference, and winners of four straight, after a 40-32 victory over Pekin in Kalona Tuesday, led by Malia Yoder’s 15 points. On the year, Hillcrest scores 49 points per game and gives up 46, shooting 33% from the field, 26% from three and 49% at the line with 34 rebounds, 15 steals, 11 assists and 24 turnovers per night. Individually, Claire Withrow scores 15 points per night, Delaney Shaw has 10 rebounds and Yoder five steals and four assists.

Louisa-Muscatine is 5-12 this year, 4-9 in conference play after a 64-16 Tuesday loss at Lone Tree where Lexi Ramer and Bailey Runnels had four points each. This year the Falcons score 34 per night and give up 45 on 24% shooting, 29% from three and 39% at the line with 27 rebounds, nine steals, five assists and 24 turnovers per game. Individually, Runnells leads at 10 points and five boards per night. Hannah Kissell averages two steals and two assists per game. L-M has won 15 of the last 16 in this series, including a 46-33 game earlier this month.

The Raven boys are 15-2 this season, 12-2, tied for first place in the Southeast Iowa Superconference North Divsion after a 51-40 loss to Pekin in Kalona Tuesday where Rowan Miller scored 15 points. This year, the Ravens average 64 points per game and give up 41, shooting 51% from the floor, 32% from three and 61% at the line with 27 rebounds, 17 assists, 11 steals and 10 turnovers per game. Individually, Seth Ours leads at 14 points per game, Mason Bender at seven rebounds and Miller with six assists and three steals per night.

L-M is 8-9 on the year and 6-7 in the Superconference after a 77-57 win at Lone Tree Tuesday where Finn Cline dropped 31 points. The Falcons score 56 points per game and give up 61, shooting 45% overall, 27% from three and 63% at the line with 33 rebounds, 12 assists, eight steals and 22 turnovers per game. Individually, Cline is at 21 points and 12 rebounds per game. Ty Rosenboom average six assists per night. Hillcrest has won 13 of the last 16 in the series including a 71-63 win earlier this month.
