Hillcrest will take on HLV on Saturday for the KCII Area Game of the Week. Both the Ravens` boys and girls teams got wins on Friday over Louisa Muscatine. The boys are 16-2 and 13-2 in conference play. The Ravens are in first place in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North. For the season, Hillcrest is averaging 64 points per game, which is the best in the conference. They haul in 26 rebounds, 17 assists, 11 steals and 1 block per game. They are in the top 5 for the most assists and steals. They have the best field goal percentage in the conference at 50.8%. They shoot 32.4% from the three point line and 61.2% at the free throw line. Seth Ours is the leading scorer for the Ravens as he averages 14 points per game. 

The HLV Warriors are coming into the game 8-8 on the year and 6-8 in the South Iowa Cedar West League. HLV defeated BGM on Friday 56-50. For the season, they are averaging 49.7, hauling in 39 boards, 12 steals, dishing out 10 assists and 1 block per game. They are shooting 34% and 23% at the three point line. From the foul line, they are shooting 58%. Their leading scorer is Peyton Roth, who is averaging 20 points a game.   

The last time Hillcrest played the HLV, the Ravens won 69-37 in 2020. Hillcrest has yet to lose to HLV and is 5-0 in the series. 

For the Hillcrest girls, they are 10-8 on the year and 8-7 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North. They are averaging 48 points, fourth best in the conference, 34 rebounds, 15.2 steals per game, 10.5 assists per game, and 1.4 blocks per game. They are third in rebounds, steals and assists. They shoot 33.4% from the field, 25% at the three point line and 48.8% at the charity stripe. On the season, they are led by Claire Withrow, who is averaging 15 points a game. 

The Warriors are 8-8 on the year and 6-7 in the South Iowa Cedar West League. HLV defeated BGM in their last game 63-27. On the year, they are averaging 37.7 points, 24 rebounds, 12 steals, 9 assists and 1 block per game. They shoot 31% from the field and 21% from the three point line. At the free throw line, they shoot 51%. The Warriors are led by Ayla Hall, who is averaging 13 points per game. 

The series goes back to 2017, with it tied 1-1. The last time they played was back in 2019 where Hillcrest won 81-43.
