The Washington Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a meeting on February 6th, at 7:30 p.m. at the USDA office located at 1621 E Washington St, Washington. The tentative agenda items for the meeting include bills for payment, cost share applications, modifications, and payments. The meeting is open to the public. 

The Washington County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is made up of five elected soil commissioners, and staff representing the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS), Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), and the Conservation Districts of Iowa. They meet monthly to discuss soil and water health and conservation in Washington County.
