The Jefferson County Correctional Facility has been recognized with the Spark Training 2025 Excellence Award. According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the award is earned by meeting an organization`s training goals and offers important insights into the culture of the facility. The Spark Training research modules reported that naloxone training has helped the facility decrease jail overdose events by 42%. The report shows knowledge retention was up 34% in 2024.
