The Washington High School Large Group Speech teams found success at the State Speech competition held in Cedar Rapids. They had a variety of events, including short films, ensemble acting, improv, one-act, and musical theater, that they took to Districts and State. They have three events moving on to the All-State competition. The events moving on include a one-act titled Baby Yoga and two ensemble acting performances titled Driver’s Test and The First Date. The Large Group All-State Festival will be held on February 22nd at Iowa State University.
