Items related to the budget and a donation for trails are on the agenda for the Kalona City Council’s next meeting. The first item of new business is setting a public hearing for April 7th at 6:30 p.m. regarding the proposed budget tax levy for the city. The council will also consider acceptance of donated funds toward trails. Additional items on the agenda include a report from the city administrator, and the renewal of an alcohol license for a restaurant. The council will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Kalona City Hall.
