Highland High School was represented at the Iowa High School Speech Association’s Large Group State Speech Contest in Cedar Rapids recently. The Huskies’ Radio Broadcasting group received an 1 overall rating at their contest in Cedar Rapids. The students in the group include Greta Piette, Saturn Lana, Ciarra Healy, and Cassidy Duster.

Other events that received a 2 score at districts included two musical theater groups and a group improv duo. The students who participated included Aaron Vercande, Wyatt Richardson, Piette, Duster, and Lana.
