Washington County 4-H’s Parker Shalla recently received recognition at the Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Association (IJBBA) Expo. Shalla showed the Reserve Champion Overall Market Animal. The Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Association is a non-profit organization that was organized in 1986. It is an affiliate of the Iowa Beef Breeds Council and is governed by the Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Council. The organization provides students the opportunity to learn, develop new skills and grow. There are approximately 900 members.
