The Washington Demons had some of the statistical leaders in Southeast Conference boys’ basketball this season. That includes senior Logan McDole, who ends up fifth in the conference in assists and sixth in scoring.

McDole’s greatest strength was arguably his free-throw shooting, and his better than 72-percent mark at the line was sixth-best in the league. McDole also finished second in makes and attempts at the charity stripe.

Washington as a team shot a Southeast Conference-best 68% on free throws, with sophomore Nic Stone and juniors Drew Conrad and Rajan Roth all hitting over 70% of their attempts and joining McDole as top 10 in the conference in free-throw shooting.

Roth ends up second in the Southeast at over 76% while hitting the fifth-most free throws and squeaking inside the top 10 in free-throw attempts.

McDole also hit better than 33 percent of his three-point shots, the sixth-highest shooting percentage in the league behind the arc. It was part of the Demons again being one of the Southeast Conference’s best three-point shooting teams.

McDole and Stone both finish in the top five in made triples, with Stone taking the second-most treys and McDole also finishing top 10 in attempted threes for a team that took the most three-pointers of anyone in the conference and was tied for the most made baskets from deep.

Roth cracks the top 10 in rebounding, while Conrad ends up eighth in steals and senior Seth Shepherd finishes tied for eighth in blocked shots.

Shepherd also hit exactly half of his shot attempts this season, good for the seventh-best field goal percentage in the Southeast Conference. Senior Conner Leyden also makes the top 10 in shooting by knocking down over 48% of his attempts for a Washington team that won nine games this season and went 5-5 in conference play.
