Mid-Prairie senior Callie Huber finished her career with a strong season on the floor for the Golden Hawk girls basketball team. She was recognized for her play this winter with a spot on the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Class 3A Southeast All-District team.
Huber was 10th in Class 3A with four offensive rebounds per game. She led the River Valley Conference at nine rebounds per game and pulled in 197 total rebounds, second most. Her 1.5 blocks per game were fourth in the River Valley, her 11 points per game were seventh in the RVC and 234 total points ninth most, with 32 total blocks, fifth most. Huber’s 50% shooting from the floor was sixth in conference. She also totaled 35 assists, 29 steals and had a 17 rebound performance in a single game at Durant, second most in Mid-Prairie history.
Huber was a unanimous first team All-Conference selection. Mid-Prairie ended their season with a 16-6 record.
