Hillcrest Academy basketball standout Seth Ours closed his career with a terrific season for the Ravens and was honored this week with a spot on the Class 1A Substate four team issued by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.

Ours finished with 356 total points, fourth in the North Division of the Southeast Iowa Superconference. He shot 84% at the free throw line to lead the league and was 37% from three, sixth best in the Superconference with a second best in conference 56 made threes. Our’s 137 total made field goals were fourth most. His 45 steals were ninth in league play, to go with 63 assists and 50 boards. Ours finished his career with 1,161 points, fifth most in Hillcrest history. He was a unanimous First-Team All-SEISC selection. Hillcrest ended this season with a 21-4 overall record.
