An event geared towards newer 4-H members is being held in Washington next weekend. The 4-H Fire Up! is being sponsored by the Washington County Extension Office, 4-H and Youth Committee, and the County Council. The event is described as most beneficial to those who have been in 4-H three years or less, but it is open to all 4-H members. It provides hands-on activities and information about 4-H, project areas, county fair opportunities, upcoming events and more.
Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their student. Each family will receive a 4-H handbook.
The 4-H Fire Up! will be held Sunday, March 23rd, from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Washington County Extension Office. People are asked to register by March 21st, a link is below.
