The home stretch of the regular season for archery saw the Washington Demon, Golden Hawk and St. James archery clubs all travel to Cedar Rapids Prairie for tournament action. The Washington high school team was sixth of nine schools in 3D with a score of 1630. Prairie won their home tournament with 1714. Top Demon boy was Jace Sanders ninth with 279 and 18 tens. The Demon girls were led by Hannah Lipski ninth with a 279 and 15 tens. In block, Washington was eighth of 10 schools at 3276, Prairie was the winner here also at 3392. Lipski was girls leader again in fifth with a 287 and 18 tens. Andy Labelle led the Washington boys in 49th at 273 with 12 tens.

The middle school Demons were 3D team runners-up at 1597. Alburnett won the title at 1644. Braxton Rich led the boys in fifth with a 275 and 14 tens. Jordan Thorius was sixth, and Hunter Barnes eighth. Top girls day went to Addyson Neer 10th at 261 and seven tens. In bullseye, the Demons were third of 11 schools at 3207, Independence was the overall winner at 3249. Hunter Barnes was best for the boys in fourth at 282 with 14 tens, Jordan Thorius was 10th. Lillith Hernandez was ninth to lead the Demon girls at 271 with 10 tens.

The Lincoln Demons were 3D team runners-up at 1431, behind Alburnett’s winning 1449. Kaylee McFarland was girls individual runner-up with a 247 and four tens, followed by Chloe Entsminger third, and Harper Horn 10th. Logan Hotchkiss was boys leader at 238 and two tens for sixth. Dawson Zieser was eighth and Louis Mejia 10th. In block, Washington was second in the team race at 2906 behind champion Alburnett’s 2971. Lincoln boys leaders were Logan Hotchkiss third at 261 and seven tens, Skyler Ruenger was fifth, and Kooper Barnes ninth. For the girls, Aly Black was seventh with 246 and eight tens, Kaylee McFarland was eighth.

The Mid-Prairie High School team was third in 3D at 1679. Averi Janecek was girls leader in fourth with a 285 and 15 tens, Ava Miller was fifth. For the boys Landon Kuenster led in sixth at 282 with 18 tens. Johnathon Pickard was seventh. In block, the Hawks were fifth of 10 schools with 3326. Lael Seale was girls individual champion with a 293 and 23 tens. Landon Kuenster was eighth at 284 and 14 tens.

The middle school Hawks were fifth of nine in 3D with a 1567 team score. Noah Coblentz was boys runner-up at 286 with 19 tens. Bryce Miller was 10th. For the girls, Lara Brenneman was 17th at 255 with eight tens. In block, the Hawks were sixth of 11 schools with 3165. Noah Coblentz was third for the best boys day with a 286 and 16 tens, Lara Brenneman was 47th at 255 and five tens.

The elementary Hawks were third as a team in 3D with 1188. Levi Coblentz was third at 248 with seven tens. Samuel Newton took ninth. For the girls, Jenna Puttmann placed seventh as the leader with 198 and one ten. Brielle Robertson was ninth. In bullseye, Zayley Jaspering’s 10th place 237 with five tens was best for the girls and Levi Coblentz in 14th with 246 and six tens led the boys.

St. James was fourth in team 3D with 1012. Misty Mei led the girls at 207 with three tens. For the boys, Emmett Gratz was 28th with 185 and a ten. In bullseye, Misty Mei was 19th at 227 with three tens to lead the girls and boys leader was Marvin Colin 42nd with 209 and a ten.
