At a recent special meeting the Highland school board filled their vacant District three seat. Four candidates attended the meeting which included an interview process. The board appointed Aaron Friederich of Riverside. He currently serves as a volunteer assistant coach with the Huskies football program and is a Vice President of lending at GreenState Credit Union in the corridor. 

The seat was vacant after the resignation of Monica Jepson this winter. Friederich’s seat will be on the ballot this November.
