Mid-Prairie’s Callie Huber continues to collect post-season awards for her play on the court last season. The Golden Hawk senior was named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Class 3A All-Region 4 team.
Huber was 10th in Class 3A with four offensive rebounds per game. She led the River Valley Conference at nine boards per game and pulled in 197 total rebounds, second most. Her 1.5 blocks per game were fourth in the River Valley, her 11 points per game were seventh in the RVC and 234 total points ninth most, with 32 total blocks, fifth most. Huber’s 50% shooting from the floor was sixth in conference. She also totaled 35 assists, 29 steals and had a 17 rebound performance in a single game at Durant, second most in Mid-Prairie history.
Joining her on the All-Region team were Williamsburg’s Carly Rich and Zoe Allen, Prairie City Monroe’s Libby Winters and Tori Lindsay and Albia’s Lily DeMoss.
Huber was also named First-Team All-River Valley Conference and IGCA Class 3A All-Southeast District. The Hawks ended the season with a 16-6 overall record.
