Many members of the Golden Hawk Archery Club have hit their target in competition and in the classroom this winter. Forty-seven student athletes were named Academic Archers this year by the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). High school Academic Archers include: Elijah Statler, Lael Seale, Morgyn Nafziger, Sophia Puttmann, Averi Janecek, Eli Conrad, Liana Wade, Nickolas Kelley, Ava Miller, Caitlyn Yoder, Jacob Debler, Madilynn Liska, Skylar Swift, Kyla Karnes, Emma Poock, Harlee West, Grace Skelton, Addison Skelton, Madelyn Sieren, Allie Whetstine, Payton Lunkley, and Kinzlee Kiefer

Middle school Academic Archers are: Nolan Mohling, Landon Allen, Easton Gorsch, Mya Brenneman, Joshua Seale, Samuel Newton, Silas Cable, Beniah Fulton, Brooklyn Liska, Lara Brenneman, Kylee Berry, Lane Janecek, Ruby Regenwether, Alex Conrad, Mycala Plank, Landon Hough, Archer Herteen, Reese Herteen, Jenna Puttmann, Claire O’Connor, Aden Schuster, Easton Miller, Nickolas Peck, Brooks Meyer, and Preston Ford.

In order to be selected as a NASP Academic Archer, an archer must have No Ds or Fs on their report card and have a GPA at or above the district’s high level academic standard number.
