
Iowa saw an increase in regular unleaded gasoline prices over the last week according to AAA. The price rose 7 cents to an average of $2.98. The national average was $3.10. The report states prices are down 26 cents from this time last year.
Retail diesel prices are lower than the national average of $3.60, at a statewide average of $3.33. One year ago the average diesel prices were $3.79.
In regards to crude oil, the price per barrel fell 38 cents over the last week to $66.89 on the West Texas Intermediate. One year ago, WTI crude oil was sold at $84.39.
