The Washington Demons put together a good showing Friday night at the Central College High School Girls’ Indoor Track & Field Meet in Pella. Washington was led by sophomore Jaedyn Moore, who finished third place in both the 60 and 200-meter dashes.

Moore clocked in at 8.21 seconds in the preliminary heats of the 60 meters before hitting eight seconds flat in the finals, while she had a time of just under 27 seconds in the 200.

Moore also helped Washington take fourth in the 4-by-400-meter relay alongside senior Kendall Hinrichsen and freshmen Lauren Drahota and Jaslyn Villa. Hinrichsen finished sixth in the 800 open, while Villa cracked the top 10 in the long jump.
