One WACO High School Warrior is advancing to the Iowa High School Speech Association’s State Individual Events Speech Contest. Jaklyn Cook will be performing in the spontaneous speaking category. She advances after receiving high marks at the speech contest held at North Scott High School. 

The IHSSA Individual Events All-State Festival will be held at the University of Northern Iowa on March 31st.
