Show off your smarts and have a good time this Friday with Hospice of Washington County. They are hosting their annual trivia night fundraiser at Dallmeyer Hall on the Washington County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the questions coming at 7 p.m. Sign up a team of four at $10 per person. The event is bring your own drinks and snacks. Tiffany Crawford with Hospice of Washington County talked with KCII news about the night, fun, prizes and how the event benefits Hospice, “Our first trivia night was ten years ago this month. We always give out silly prizes, a prize for the winning team and a prize for the losing team. There are eight different categories and eight rounds. For each question, you get so many points, and you also have the opportunity to buy mulligans and double ups. We also host a 50/50 raffle so there’s a chance for extra money. We are a non-profit hospice that’s serving seven different counties so, we do fundraisers throughout the year. This helps offset the cost of patient care for those who are uninsured or underinsured, so our patients will never see a bill from us.”
