As we start a new month, the annual April showers will be accompanied by thunder, lightning and potentially severe weather. The National Weather Service Office in the Quad Cities is forecasting a strong storm complex that could bring multiple rounds of severe storms Tuesday night and Wednesday. On both days the KCII listening area falls into the two out of five, or slight risk category. The main threats Tuesday include large hail and damaging winds. Wednesday’s storms bring a chance of large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes. The KCII Severe Weather Action Team is monitoring the forecast and will bring you more information as it becomes official. The one to count on for up-to-the-minute severe weather coverage is KCII.
