A new face can be found at the Kalona Post Office. This year, the United States Postal Service (USPS) named Amber Scheetz the new Postmaster in Kalona. Scheetz has 18 years of experience with the postal service working as a rural carrier, office supervisor and now city Postmaster. According to the USPS, each office’s Postmaster is responsible for daily functions, including ensuring efficient delivery and handling customer service issues. Scheetz is a native of Oxford, Iowa.
